Joshua O – Captain

I am the Captain for Hull Trinity House Academy, this means that I am responsible for all the Officers and all the Trinity traditions such as parade, marching practice, bells, special events. As the most senior student in the Academy, I regularly speak to the Principal about the Academy offering any suggestions to improve the life of students at HTHA.

The rich history of HTHA is unique and makes the place a special environment for students and staff, the connections that the Academy has in the maritime industry will help me with my future hopes of being in the Royal Navy. When I leave HTHA I will be going onto College to study for A-Levels so that I can join the Royal Navy’s Fleet Air Arm and the fly the F35-B Lightening jets.

Outside of the Academy I train everyday of the week doing boxing and going to the gym, I also like to go running after sessions in an evening.

My advice to any student is for them to take pride in themselves, have good morals, personal respect and high aspirations for their future careers and life.
