Ajay B – Chief of Hammond

My job as Chief of Hammond is to patrol around my house making sure that the standers are being upheld to the best of their abilities. I try to settle any disturbances or problems caused by students and also make sure that officers are commanding squads properly.
I like the unique parade and events we have that are linked to the history of this school, and I find it intriguing. I also love that students get the opportunity to be officers, and it is a good way to boost their confidence. In addition, I think HTHA has some high-level teaching and great learning outcomes not only making it a great school for the traditions but for your future as well.
When I leave HTHA I’m going to go to college and study further. After college, I will go to university and get some degrees and pursue a job. I also might join the army for a few years for the experience that soldiers have to face.
One of my favourite hobbies recently has been working out and doing some exercise. I also am trying to learn a bit of Korean because I want to be able to speak more than one language.
I would tell them, if they got the opportunity to become an officer to take it and not fear it. It can be extremely nerve-racking at first but the more you do it, the more confidence you can build which can not only help you in school but also outside of school. You don’t get this opportunity in any other school in the world so you should feel gratitude to be in a school so special. I would advise the students to be on their best behaviour and dedicate themselves to the school if they want to be in the white squad or just an officer.
