Officer Patterdale Trip
Some of our Year 11 Officers including members of the White Squad enjoyed a weekend away at DELTA Academies Trust Patterdale Centre for a rewards trip to thank them for their hard work this half term. We arrived on Friday night for some pizzas and a relaxing night ready for the hike the following day, before bed we enjoyed the opportunity to look up to a sky full of stars!
Saturday we went to view the Aero Force Waterfalls and travelled there by ferry across the lake to enjoy a walk around the surrounding area. The day started with some sunshine but by lunch it was raining but spirits remained high as we walked back to the centre. For our evening meal a home cooked chilli was prepared by students, Mr Bilton and Mr Clark followed by a quiz hosted by the famous Mr Woods.
Sunday morning we awoke with some sore legs and wet shoes but the Officers were ready to go for a walk around the valley, an easy walk that was enjoyed by all in the sun with some incredible views of the area. Once back at the Centre we tied up and packed our things ready to return to Hull, a quiet journey back with most sleeping on the DELTA Coach. A fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate the Officers and the incredible work they do for the Academy every day but also for the many special events that make Hull Trinity House Academy a unique place.
