Hull Trinity House Academy

Mrs Padfield graduated from the University of Hull with BSc (Hons) in Marine and Freshwater Biology and continued her studies here to gain her Post Graduate Certificate in Education.

Mrs Padfield’s first teaching post was at a large comprehensive school in Grimsby. During her 4 years at this school, she was promoted to Btec Coordinator and then, Lead Teacher for the school.

Mrs Padfield joined a large school in Hull in 2011, where she remained for 8 years.  During this time, she was Assistant Director of Maths and later, Assistant Director of Science; leading both departments in their relentless drive to give students of Hull the best opportunities possible through effective teaching and learning, curriculum design and effective team management.

Mrs Padfield joined Delta Academies Trust in 2019 as Lead Teacher of Science for the Trust; one of only 2 at the time with this role.  Sarah was deployed to different Academies within the Trust and spent time assisting the planning of our effective curriculum and assessment tracking systems. She also worked for Education Exchange as an ECT Facilitator during this time and has spent a vast amount of her career developing staff new to the profession.

Mrs Padfield joined Hull Trinity House Academy in 2023 and was appointed as Associate Assistant Principal for ITT and ECT before being appointed Assistant Principal for Teaching and Learning.  This put to good use her NPQ in leading teaching; supporting colleagues to ensure teaching and learning at Hull Trinity House Academy is the best it can be to give our students the best opportunities them can for their successful futures. #teamTrinity.
