Exam Access Arrangements
Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) refer to reasonable adjustments implemented to support candidates during examinations. These provisions may include extended time, the use of a laptop / word processor, or scheduled rest breaks, depending on the individual’s assessed needs.
These arrangements are tailored to each student and are based on assessments that determine their specific needs. Diagnoses are not a prerequisite for Exam Access Arrangements.
We aim to identify any students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) who might require additional support for exams; however, formal testing through our external provider does not take place until Year 10.
