We’re excited to launch this year’s Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award! The DofE is an incredible opportunity for Year 10’s to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and create memories that last a lifetime.
Through the programme, you’ll take part in four exciting sections:
- Volunteering – make a difference in your community.
- Physical – get active and improve your fitness.
- Skills – learn or develop a new talent.
- Expedition – work as a team to plan and complete an outdoor adventure.
After-school sessions will begin after Christmas, running on Mondays from 2:45–3:45pm in Science 6, where you’ll learn map reading, navigation, and expedition skills.
- Sign-up deadline: Friday, 28th November
- Cost: £90 per person (covers registration, training, and expedition transport). Payment can be made via My Child at School, and installments are available.
- Please note, there are only 24 places, offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Take the first step in your adventure – build confidence, gain valuable skills, and stand out from the crowd.
