Lucas P – Chief of Marching

As Chief of Marching, I am responsible for marching practice, this is where we train students on how to do parade. I also have to decide what students practice and how to improve.

I enjoy the uniqueness of the school and all the opportunities the school can offer you, the school will give students the opportunity to grow their skills and help and support you in every way they can. The history of the school is what makes it unique to Hull and has an excellent ethos and strong values makes you proud to be part of Trinity House.

When I leave Hull Trinity House Academy, I will be continuing my education and completing A-levels and want to study A-Level Law.

My aim is to join the Police force and work my way up and I would like to progress to be a specialised officer and work with dogs and become a dog handler.

Outside of school I enjoy going to Hull City home games and try to get to some away games when I get chance.

I am also a keen photographer I like getting out and about with my camera my personal favourite subjects are buses and trains.

My advice to any student is for them to give 100% to everything they do, good behaviour and attendance is important and take pride in what you do and have respect for the teachers and other pupils. This will help you get along at Trinity and will help set you up for the future.

School is hard in general and the expectations are high at Trinity and all I can advise is if you are struggling or need to know anything then don’t be afraid to ask a member of staff or any of the Chief or Senior officers, they were a year 7 at some point as well, so we all know how hard it can be sometimes.
