For over 235 years, Hull Trinity House Academy has stood at the heart of Hull’s maritime heritage, shaping generations of young people into confident, capable, and community-minded individuals. Established in 1787 as the Hull Trinity House Marine School with just 36 pupils, the Academy has grown into a thriving, modern secondary school of just under 1000 students, while proudly maintaining the traditions that make it truly unique.

From its early focus on navigation and seafaring skills to today’s ambitious, broad curriculum, the Academy has continually evolved, yet its core values remain unchanged. Our motto, Spes Super Sydera (“Hope beyond the Stars”), still reflects the aspiration and ambition we instil in every student.

As a former student, you are part of this incredible legacy.
