    After hosting the French pupils for a week, the Y9 and Y10 boys involved in the French Exchange have left today for the South West of France. 

    Let's wish them a pleasant and fulfilling trip full of new experiences, language opportunities and of course French food!

  • Year 7 Most Able Trip to Hull University

    Eight of our Yera 7 boys enjoyed a great day at Hull University, as part of the University's  school engagement week. 

    In the morning they split into two teams and competed in a Maths challenge. This was very popular, games the boys played included ROGO, Bojagi and a chance dice game. They did really well and enjoyed competing against teams from Hymers, Hull Collegiate, The Boulevard and Malet Lambert. The activities encouraged team working and even working with girls!   • Keeping up with the boys in English

    Wednesday 23rd March sees the start of our latest free Family learning course as featured on our web page and in the Hull Daily Mail earlier this month.

    This course offers parents the opportunity to enhance their English skills and gain a national Level 2 equivalent qualification, whilst at the same time helping them to encourage their sons to be more confident with their English skills.

    Anyone interested in trying the course should contact Student Services as soon as possible to secure a place.

    This morning 24 Stage 3 students took part in a live link up event organised for the national Child Sexual Exploitation Day (CSE). They discussed live with other secondary schools accross the region how to help protect children against sexual exploitation.

  • Wear a Hat

    15th March 2016

    Hull Trinity House Academy will support on Thursday 24th March the Wear a Hat campain to raise awareness about Brain Tumours. This is a subject particularly important to us at the Academy and you can read the story of our Exam Officer, Mrs Jayne Reffin, in the Hull Daily Mail

    Fundraising events will take place on the day but you can already purchase some merchandise from the Academy.

    Prizes will be available for the best staff hat and student hats on the day!

  • Y11 Prom 2016 and Y11 Leavers Hoodies

    15th March 2016

    Leavers Hoodies and Prom Tickets are now available! Please use Parent Pay to buy yours and see Mr Germain to finalise the order for your Hoodie. 

    The Prom will take place on Friday 24th June at Hull University Staff House, starting at 7pm. It will be a celebration in honour of our Year 11 and the last chance to say goodbye before they all take their different routes. We hope to see you all there!

  • 56th Annual Sailors' Service

    Thanks to all the students, parents and staff who supported our school's history and traditions by attending the 56th Annual Sailors' Service at Holy Trinity Church.

    The service focused on members of the seafaring community and in particular on the sacrifices of those sailors who served and died in the Battle of Jutland during WWI.

    This booklet is available on our page: How to Support my Child

    It gives further information that can be used at home to help support the revision process for the examinations. Each subject area offers guidance about revision tools and techniques which could be used and suitable revision resources. Details of additional revision sessions are also included.

    Families of pupils at Hull Trinity House Academy are being invited to lessons in English, maths and information and communication technology (ICT).

    The school's Keeping Up With The Children classes invite parents and relatives into school to gain an understanding of what their children are learning."

    GCSEPOD arrives at Hull Trinity

    We have just made access to GCSEPOD available to our year 10 and 11 students, they have all had their introductory session. This resource will allow students to access over 2500 online revision podcasts that can also be downloaded and viewed on their mobile devices.   • GCSE Examination Results 2015

    Examination results for this year will be available from the academy on Thursday 20th August 2015, they can be collected from the gymnasium between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon.  Please use the Charlotte Street Mews entrance.

    Today marked the marked the start of Not in our community Male Victim Week 6 -12 July.


    As our students have been active in helping to promote the week  (Hull Daily Mail, Saturday 4th July, KCFM radio this morning and Radio Humberside tomorrow), could I please ask tutors to use a tutor time session to  highlight the issue by logging on to the Not in our community website.
