  • 64 Million Artists Project

    16th November 2016

    On Wednesday 15th of November a small group of year 10 students, visited The Octagon to take part in the 64 Million Artists initiative.  This project will enable different groups across the city to issue a weekly creative challenge to the people of Hull. This is a city of culture event.

    The boys attended a free two hour workshop so they could decide a short list of challenges, these were then voted on by everyone at the workshop. A challenge was chosen for Trinity House Academy to promote for one week next y

  • Non-uniform day for Children In Need

    16th November 2016

    Once again we are planning to hold a non-uniform day to raise money for Children in Need on Friday 18th November.  In keeping with this year’s theme, students are encouraged to wear something spotty, preferably in their House colours. We are requesting a minimum donation of £1 from each student.  Lessons will take place as normal although extra money may be needed for any activities that take place at lunchtime or through tutors.  Traditionally, we share the proceeds of the day between Children in Need and

  • A Day in the life of the NHS" trip

    Some of our Year9 and Year 8 took part in "A Day in the life of the NHS" trip. They went behind the scenes at Hull Royal Infirmary as part of a large-scale NHS careers event.

    More than 70 students from Withernsea High, Trinity House School and St Mary’s Academy walked through six individual scenarios designed to showcase NHS job roles which support people from birth through to end of life.   • Restart a Heart Day

    Well done to all our Year 7 for taking part in the Restart a Heart Day. Yorkshire Ambulance Service representatives said how fantastic the boys were during the day!

    To mark European Restart a Heart Day, Yorkshire Ambulance Services provided cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training to all our Year 7 and around 20,000 youngsters at 105 secondary schools across Yorkshire – thanks to more than 600 volunteers!

    This new FREE online course from the British Council is suitable for anyone who is a non-native English speaker and who have studied English to at least pre-intermediate level (approximately A2 on the CEFR).   • High Flying Results

    25th August 2016

    Students at Hull Trinity House Academy have achieved some of the best results in the last three years! Almost a quarter of all the grades recorded were A or A* grades with 20% of students achieving 5 or more A*/A grades. Whilst it is difficult to single out individuals, particular mention should go to Philemon Kaliafetis, Abdallah Sati, Daniel Cockill, Bob Eldon-Smith, Elliot Reed and Matthew Park who all gained 9 or more A*/A results.

    On Friday 15th of July a group of students from Year 8 and a group of boys from Year 9 got to work with the innovative local company My Pockets.
    My Pockets is a multi award winning production company based in Hull and run by Peter Snelling and Sally Snelling, their recent work has included a programme which aired on BBC3 and have won numerous accolades for their productions.
