The boys then attended four different workshops; Learning Medicine, I'm a GP, I'm a Hospital Physician and Anatomy.
Whilst the boys enjoyed all the sessions they loved Anatomy. During this session they got use an ultrasound machine, listen to their own hearts and study samples of preserved heart tissue in fluid.
The day ended with a Q&A session. This visit certainly inspired students to seriously consider medicine as a career and additionally gave them an excellent overview of the application process.
