The annual French exchange took place this Easter. Miss Welton, Mrs Metcalfe and 9 of our students travelled with their French partners to the sunny climes of the South of France. Pupils thoroughly immersed themselves in French life, trying the food and practising their French and of course shopping!
Henry Allan says, ” There were many interesting excursions, but my favourite was when we went to the Pyrenees. It was a steep climb at times, but some of us actually ran up the mountain and had to stop for the others to catch up! It was a great exchange and was worthwhile, filled with stunning sights and nice food.”
Kacper Legoswki says, ” There were many new experiences on the trip from visiting a castle, sight seeing in Toulouse, bowling and of course the walk in the Pyrenees. I learned so much from living with a French family and this was the best trip I have ever been on.”
If you are in Year 9 or 10 and you are interested in joining us, come and see your French teacher!
